    Official Cameron Inquiry Report Released

The Official Report of the Cameron Inquiry into the Breast Cancer Scandal in Newfoundland and Labrador is to be released on Monday, March 2, 2009.  The Cameron Inquiry Report is expected to generate much discussion over the next several weeks and critics are concerned that the report will not be released in full by the Newfoundland and Labrador government.

Lymphedema, a condition that results in arm swelling is common in many people following breast cancer surgery.  A new study published in the July 20 issue of the Journal of Clinical Oncology has reported that this issue deserves greater attention.

The Cameron Inquiry: An Unofficial Blog launches Discussion Forum

People from Newfoundland and Labrador have always been opinionated.  One doesn't have to go far to to hear someone expressing a concern about an issue or making a comment about a current event.  Just turn on the radio throughout the week and listen to the happenings on any one of the call-in shows, or the open line shows.  Pick up a newspaper and read the editorials.  Now, Newfoundlanders and Labradorians have a new forum to express their concerns on the happenings in The Cameron Inquiry as it explores the faulty hormone receptor test and breast cancer scandal, as well as many other political issues that are relevant to the province.

Welcome to The Cameron Inquiry: An Unofficial Blog

We would like to thank you for stopping by "The Cameron Inquiry: An Unofficial Blog".  Our site will be dedicated to providing information and opinions that pertain to the ongoing commission of inquiry that was setup by the Newfoundland and Labrador Government to examine the faulty hormone receptor tests in the Newfoundland and Labrador Health Care system.

While there are many people being given an opportunity to express their concerns through the "official" channels of the commission of inquiry, there are many in the general public that have no forum to provide any comments and no mechanism to make their thoughts known.  This "unofficial blog" was established to not only give a personal perception as to what is taking place with the breast cancer testing scandal, but to also provide those individuals from the general public with an opportunity to comment and share their opinions.
